Favor that stirs the value

Have you ever being confronted by a friend seeking for a handout? Not too long ago, someone whom I never in touch for almost a decade. Rang me up suddenly to seek for financial assistant. The amount he asked however was quite substantial.

Looking at the current economy spiraling deeper into recession, some of friends are increasingly turning to you for as a money lender or request for a favor. Feeling of guilt, worry certainly arise when things not going well. When the time comes, a price tag will put on the friendship. Recently, I have spoken with couple of my friends; majority of them told me this:

” Those who call when you are needed and walk away when otherwise, the value should remains zero”

Unconsciously, each and every one of us will have a price tag to be evaluated by someone else. It will justify whether if you should have given him a cut, or come up with something just to turn him down.

Still don’t get it? Just imagine if you were to choose between buying a car for $10,000 or a T-Shirt for $10,000, the decision is obvious. It means - Money is what you pay, value is what you get (In business point of view)

So how much is your value?
